Just before the start of the 2021 academic year, Aurora, WUR's fourth education building, opened its doors. It is named after the Roman goddess of the dawn thanks to the building design, characterized by daylight in all areas of use.
About Aurora
Along with a large lecture hall, this flexible and almost energy-neutral building will primarily house research and project rooms. Aurora also offers study areas for students and teachers, various catering pop-ups and an indoor bicycle shed.
